How long does it take to install a Silent Roof?
When installed on Profile Metal Roofing (PMR) structures and the like, the Silent Roof Material (SRM) is simply rolled out across the roof from eave to eave up and over the ridge of the roof. Each ‘strip’ will be 1m wide. The next strip is laid upside-down on to the first strip and secured together. This strip is then flipped over to lie adjacent to it’s neighbour and the process repeated. Using this method a considerable area of roof can be covered with SRM in relatively short period of time.
There are of course many variables to consider including the height of the roof in question and points of access. The lengths of Silent Roof Material can be cut to length at ground level and then raised to roof height using suitable lifting machinery. Silent Roof will rarely if ever become an issue where product weight is concerned, a square metre of SRM only weighs 800 grams.
Do you have an approved installer?
We strongly recommend that where possible you consider engaging with our approved installation company, TV & Film Studio Group. They have extensive experience in the installation process of Silent Roof Material (SRM).
This link will take you to a time lapse video of SRM being installed on a 6,000 square metre roof.
